What's in my Disney World bag
My Disney-carry is sacred to me. What is
the result of years of experience, including my year as an Annual Passholder
visiting the Disneyland Resort, I have perfected an essential list of items
that I need while spending an entire day expressing my Disney side. If you are interested in any of these items, I've set up Amazon Affiliate links to purchase them.
PacSafe makes some incredible anti-theft baggage. Is it effective?
Don’t know. But it offers some awesome peace of mind while traveling through
thick crowds, such as those at a Disney park.
The Vibe 25 is perfect for travel. It’s my personal item on
flights, my urban explorer bag, and even my main hiking bag. It’s the perfect
size for storing tons of items without being too large. That’s what you want for
underneath and airplane seat, covering miles throughout a cityscape, or in this
case, storing on the floor of a roller coaster train while you launch into the
first inversion of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
The Pedco UltraPod was my main tool for extra stabilization while
shooting video. It’s a versatile tool that acts as a camera grip or tripod or
when strapped around an object, it can turn many objects into a camera mount.
When paired with the Ztylus Z-Grip, I’ve got a killer rig that’s
easy to set up and ready to use in seconds. I left my motorized gimbal at home.
While my phone takes excellent video in the right lighting, indoors
and night situations prove to be its downfall. Although this light is
incredibly annoying when blasting in people’s faces, it is critical when
capturing the shot in dark environments. Clips into the cold shoe mount on the
Z-Grip when I need it.
4) BeatsX
Did not use these at all as I intended to not isolate myself from
the group. It was nice knowing that I had it though.
Used for cleaning the camera lens on my phones or for removing those
hard water spots after a cruise on Kali River Rapids.
6) Tom Ford Sunglasses + Case
I debated about this one. I would usually reach for my rugged pair
of Oakley, or an inexpensive but stylish pair of Quay, but I was on vacation so
I grabbed my best. The bulky case was excessive but necessary when I needed it
to protect my favorite frames.
Savior. High capacity and adaptive IQ charging.
Fit snugly in the RFID blocking pocket in my Vibe 25.
Swiss Army Knife of charging cables. These two cables include a
USB Type-A Connector to USB Type-C, Lightning, and Micro USB. PowerLine II is capable
of transferring data as well as power. Lifesavers when your group has a mix of
devices.
10) Daiso Compass
There’s always a compass in my bag. On most occasions, I know
exactly where I am. On rare occasions when I have a group of people counting on
my sense of direction, I like to be triple-positive that we are headed the
right way. Especially in a new environment and sightlines are blocked.
11) Cree LED Tactical Flashlight
I also usually have a tactical flashlight on my person most of the
time. I thought this was helpful for keeping my group of 8 together while
traversing through the crowds at night. I pointed a wide beam toward the
ground, creating a circle of brightness in the direction I was going.
12) Chapstick
Picked this guy up in San Francisco in 2016. Not sure why this tube
lasted so long.
13) Various Snacks
Eating in a 45+ minute line is a must. The best snacks can withstand
the weather, won’t create a big mess, and won’t get crushed in whatever bag you
put it in.
